One of the most decorated members of the Chicago Police Department and candidate for the 10th District State Senate was proudly endorsed by former Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy during a community event in the Norwood Park neighborhood on Tuesday night. Garry McCarthy is proud to stand with Danny and stated: “I want to see integrity, and I want to see quality, and I want to see legitimacy, and I want to see people who actually care about what they are doing, and aren’t necessarily going to cut deals but are going to do the right thing. Which brings me to Danny”…“Danny has integrity he’s a family man and he loves this city and he wants to do the right thing. So, it’s very important that we start to turn the tide and as a State Senator you can have an impact Danny and that is why we must have guys like you into these positions. So, without anything further to say, Danny best of luck. Please come out and support him as often as you can. I'm going to be with him the whole time, as much as I can be. Danny O’Toole.”
"Illinois has been in financial ruin for far too long. Our elected official’s only solution is more taxes. This approach has forced residents and businesses to leave our great state. It’s time for Springfield to reel in the reckless spending and implement policies that promote growth. As Senator, I will bring positive change and leadership to Springfield. I am a strong supporter of our hard-working families, our military and our first responders. I will work tirelessly for the residents of the 10th District and always put people before a political party. I’ve spent my whole life serving others. It would be an honor to represent our community as 10th District Illinois State Senator," states Danny O’Toole.
